Star Wars Robot LED Kit with Lego Housing

LED Robot kit came from HobbyTron.com was used to
practice soldering for another project I am working on. Once completed
I thought the circuit board / battery / switch needed some type
of housing so I decided to make one out of lego. I stuck with
the red and green of the board itself by using all red bricks
and a green base plate. It
is basically a big box but I have some internal bricks to keep
the wiring in place as well as the circuit board itself. And since
it was a Star Wars style robot [R2-D2] I thought what better than
to put a Lego R2-D2 / C3PO minifigs right on top.

th ebattery door. Decided to just use a standard lego door for
that one. Easy access and large enough for the battery to be removed/replaced.

Robot LED kit from HobbyTron.com was not too difficult
to build and a rather fun project once completed. The LEDs are
very bright and flash rapidly. If you want a fun and fairly easy
electronics project I highly reccomend this one from HobbyTron.com.
